Short answer
What can I do when I crave vaping?
Cravings are temporary. Try to delay, change what you're doing, breathe slowly, drink water or talk to someone — the “5 Ds” Health Canada recommends. This tool lets you start one of those straight away.
What's in this tool
- 90-second reset: slow breathing followed by a 5-4-3-2-1 grounding exercise. Seated and quiet.
- Pattern break: a tiny lights-out puzzle. It's a distraction, not a test — no score, no clock.
- Change the routine: pick your situation and get specific, ordinary swaps.
- Craving timer: 1, 3, 5 minutes or your own length. Stop early or add time.
- Remind me why: write your reasons and see them in front of you.

Frequently asked questions
Is the craving tool really free?
Yes. There's no sign-up, no email and no payment. It runs entirely in your browser.
Is anything I type saved or sent anywhere?
No. Reasons you write stay in the page and disappear when you close it, unless you tick “remember on this device”, which stores them only in your browser's local storage. Nothing is uploaded.
What if the craving is still strong afterwards?
Try another activity, add time to the timer, or talk to someone. In the U.S. you can call 1-800-QUIT-NOW for free coaching; in Canada, 1-866-366-3667.
